The simplicity of the fragrance Eternity is something I’ve always loved about it, not always in the notes’ intricacy but rather in their constancy and ability to convey the intended notes clearly.
This Calvin Klein scent always seems to be consistent, unlike many other colognes that have serious performance problems or change drastically depending on the setting.
It opens prominently and concisely. I notice a consistent lavender smell throughout, which contributes to the nearly soapy texture, akin to the lavender found in Axe Night body wash. After that, though, those two scents diverge entirely. Eternity has a citrusy aspect due to the notes of mandarin orange and lemon, which are balanced by a green accord. The notes of lavender, sandalwood, and vetiver are the strongest or most accessible to notice in Eternity for Men. This perfume, which I would characterize as manly without becoming overly dark and heavy, is quite soothing and silky.
Once more, the floral and citrus notes serve to somewhat lighten and improve the appeal of this perfume.
After the first wave of the first few minutes, my nose picks up on the herbal spice contingent, which is headed by sage. Of course, the scent of soap somewhat overpowers it, but it remains throughout in varied degrees.

n my skin, it projects well to really well. It’s something that both I and everyone around me can sense, but not in an overpowering or objectionable way. Is it persistent? In that sense, it is moderate.
It’s not a fragrance that I’ll smell for ten hours or something, but it’s also not one that will go off in two to three hours. It usually lasts five to seven hours, depending on the day, the surroundings, what I’m doing, etc.
Since this is generally the case with reformulations and the such, I’m confident the performance has evolved. Even in the event that such is the case, Eternity for Men succeeds where so many others have failed.
Although its use case may lean toward younger users, it doesn’t feel particularly adolescent. If older men so choose, they can wear this.
