reviews:
Get the most from the classic scent of a modern man who is both strong and sensitive. A scent in contact with today’s sprite.
The genius behind Dior Sauvage Eau De Toilette, Francois Demachy of the Christian Dior company, launched the fragrance in 2015, and it has been the best-selling scent ever since.
Despite all of the modifications it has undergone over the years, Sauvage has managed to stay on our list of the top springtime scents for men in 2023.
Dior Sauvage smells like a fresh, daring, spicy, traditional man scent right out of the bottle, but don’t anticipate much in the way of distinctiveness because it’s nothing you haven’t smelled before.
While many find it reminiscent of Bleu De Chanel, Versace Dylan Blue, and Prada Luna Rosa Carbon, it does smell manly, wild, and seductive.
Though Sauvage is similar to other scents, it has its own distinct quality that makes it easy to identify Sauvage from the others if you are blindfolded and have to smell them all.
The scent of Dior Sauvage is similar to a traditional men’s fragrance with a hint of wilderness.
bought a Sauvage body spray a few years ago when I was not into colognes, perfumes, and EDTs, so much as I adore them today. I was fascinated with the smell itself, a kind of charming one that later led me to buy a genuine classic Sauvage EDP for me.
It has straightforward branding on the front and is shaped like a cylinder made of clear glass with a blue gradient.
Its magnetic-type top, which keeps the CD logo in the proper place at all times, emphasizes how exquisite it feels. This reminds me of the bottle cap from Bleu De Chanel.
The aroma is sprayed quite widely by the atomizer, so you won’t need to use a lot of sprays to cover every area.
There are numerous bottles available in various sizes. Among these are Sauvage EDT bottles of 30, 60, 100, and 200 milliliters.
You can purchase a 300ml refill bottle in addition to the more recent 30ml or 100ml bottles. Dior and other fragrance companies are now selling refillable bottles, which is a relatively new invention.
Keep in mind that in order to use the refill, you must have a more recent refillable bottle. The refill bottles themselves are not intended for standalone usage; they must be used to fill those bottles.

Notes:
Top notes include Pepper, Calabrian Bergamot.
Geranium, Lavender, Vetiver, Patchouli, Sichuan pepper, Pink pepper, Elemi in the middle.
Labdanum, Cedar, Ambroxan form the base.
Dior Sauvage is a traditional men’s fragrance that is spicy, fresh, and slightly woodsy. Top notes of Calabrian bergamot and pepper are strong in the beginning. A blend of geranium, lavender, and other spices can be found in the heart, which leads to a vetiver and woody note drydown.
The pepper scent hits you right away as soon as you spray it. It’s so potent that I get the impression that the pepper’s molecules are radioactively buzzing through the atmosphere in all directions.
Even though I don’t think there is actual bergamot in the notes—It’s just aroma chemically altered to smell like bergamot—you will notice that Sauvage is very bergamot heavy if you are not nose-blind to the scent, as most people are.
It gets drier as it goes on, and you can taste the lavender and pepper notes coming together so nicely that you can also smell a sweet, fruity punch in the background. It’s interesting because, overall, I don’t think this fragrance is sweet.
Sauvage turns dry as vetiver begins to emerge just after the fragrance’s heart peaks and begins to gradually fade towards the base. It is still primarily peppery, woodsy (with a hint of tobacco, I think), and a compliment-getter that will linger on your skin for hours.
Performance:
he most recent batches of Dior Sauvage typically last 7-9 hours, with the first three hours having very good projection.
Additionally, the scent has a strong afterglow, so it will linger in the air long after you.
This thing was incredible during the initial days of Sauvage EDT; it lasted for more than 10 hours and projected for at least 5 hours. But as we’ve all seen before, particularly in the world of designer perfumes, things do get reformulated over time. Despite the lack of official announcements, people can just observe a decline in performance.
If you’re trying it for the first time, don’t worry—Dior Sauvage’s performance will exceed all of your expectations and be the last thing on your mind.
Performance has always been a major factor in this fragrance’s success and is undoubtedly one of the main reasons why so many people enjoy it. expressing my conviction that Sauvage won’t be able to deliver a strong performance for Dior House in the future.
- LENGTH: 9-12 HOURS
- PROJECTION: FINE
- SILLAGE: STRONG
Where and When?
Warm spring and summer days are the ideal times to wear Dior Sauvage because of its non-offensive nature, which makes it the ideal choice for any kind of occasion.
Dior Sauvage is an excellent fragrance for the workplace or home. It can make a great signature aroma, and it can also make an impression on your partner at Sunday brunch.
When it comes to this beautiful Dior scent, there are practically no rules. It is ideal for any occasion and will undoubtedly create fantastic first impressions.
I would advise you not to wear it on chilly days because the low temps will prevent it from opening correctly, which will also result in very subpar performance. Instead, Sauvage EDP is what I would recommend for activities that take place at night.
- SEASONS: Any season, mostly on fall and spring.
- OCCASIONS: Leisure, Night Out, Daily Scent, and Business meetings.
- ATTIRE: Formal, Business, Date Night, Smart Casual, Special Occasions.
Conclusion:
Masque’s L’Attesa is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women and men. This is a brand-new scent. L’Attesa debuted in 2016. Luca Maffei is the nose behind this fragrance. Bergamot, neroli, and champagne are the top notes; iris, orris root, tuberose, and ylang-ylang are the middle notes; sandalwood, oakmoss, and leather are the base notes.
It’s probably one of the greatest fragrances presented by Masque Milano perfume company I have tested recurrently. The Sillage and Projection is more than great regarding its size and price in a way you can not believe it. Having the delicate floral, woody and musk notes in three different phases, which does not weaken the Silage power anyhow, L’attesa stated its name among other competitors by being wearable on any occasion and temporal specificity.
